Tyler received his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of law. Throughout law school, Tyler envisioned starting a practice that would truly serve the interests of people within his community. Initially Tyler practiced consumer protection litigation, representing those that had been harassed and bullied at the hands of large corporations. After successfully handling numerous cases in both Federal and State Court, Tyler found himself frustrated with the current state of the law and the apathetic manner many attorneys approached their attorney-client relations. Tyler sought to practice within an area of the law that would allow him to be a mentor and establish profound relationships with his clients. It is for these reasons that Tyler shifted into an Estate Planning practice focused on lifelong relationships.
During his time in law school, Tyler was on the Dean’s Academic List and led an academic success program for students struggling with law school. During law school, Tyler clerked at the Santa Cruz District Attorney’s Office and the Watsonville Law Center. In Tyler’s spare time he enjoys coaching volleyball and wearing brightly colored socks.
